I thought I'd do a welcome thread, just for you
Welcome to our little world, a place to care, share and make new friends.

As a guest, you are probably left thinking we are only a parenting site, or very small.
Let me assure you that is not the case, we are a diverse group with a decent amount of memberships, growing daily.

As a guest, you have very restricted viewing rights. This is to protect member privacy!
To view the whole forum, you need to become an active member.

Lurkers end up being deactivated. We have a firm set of rules about what is classed as inactive and lurking, and we stick to them, regardless of who you are.

When you register,your details will be sent to Admin to go over, and decide on activation or not. Please allow Admin time to receive and deal with your account. If you do not receive an activated email, please contact Admin on the email address supplied at the bottom of this post. Also, you must supply some identifying information in your registration, as to who you are. This will stop people joining to cause trouble, and bots. A simple email address that is linked to your facebook or myspace, or your ID details from another site we may know you from, something simple like that is suffice. If you say your friend invited you, we want to know what friend. A application that does not provide any simple details to verify who you are, will not be accepted

But have a look around, and I hope you enjoy the little you can see, so much so that you wish to register and stick around, have some fun chatter, about anything and everything.

Also, please, save yourself time and face.... if your only joining to cause trouble, don't bother. You will be weeded out quiet fast. If you don't like the site, or it's members, then don't join, simple. Find something more productive to do with your time.

Rules for Funky Friends Online

Admin reserves the right to decline a membership at any time.

Firstly; it's not hard to be respectful online. No harder then it would be to conduct yourself in the vicinity of your family, friends, work, school, church, or children! So first thing to always remember is, if you wouldn't say or do it in front of any of the above, don't say or do it here. Simple really.

Being a member on any website, is a privilege, not a right, and whilst FFO Admin endeavor to give each potential member a clean slate, there are at times people who cannot be offered this opportunity, based on continual behaviors, past and/or current.

If you are joining to be a Lurker, this will not serve you well. Each log in is monitored and Lurking Accounts become highlighted swiftly. Lurking accounts will be deactivated without warning.

Each membership is also traced for security and privacy reasons.

If you are caught abusing you privilege, by abusing another member, be it in Private Messages or on the open board, you will also be deactivated without warning.

FFO endeavors to run a friendly, free, open forum. Unfortunately, at times, people can try to join with ill intent. Admin and Moderators will do their best to prevent this.

Banning's are real and final, not up for discussion.

Suspensions are considered in some cases, but not a common occurrence.

Verbal warnings will appear on your profile for all to see, so conduct yourself respectfully as you'll only disrespect your own name. 3 verbals and your either banned, or suspended, depending on the individual case.

If you don't like the site, it's Administrators, or it's funky members, do not join!

There are plenty other forums around for you to join. Do not bother to join if you have ill intent, after all, it's only going to be your online reputation ruined, not ours.

Upon Joining, Admin will be advised of your account registration, and will be required to activate or delete it, according to the member applying.

Please allow some time for Admin to review and handle your account as needed, before trying to log in.

Once logged in, we request you post an Introduction Thread immediately, and intro yourself. If one has been made for you already, please post in it.
